African swine fever has been diagnosed in Kaišiadorys district for the second time this year.
When a pig died in Miežonių village, a swine fever was diagnosed and the two other pigs in the farm had to be slaughtered.
Protection and surveillance zones have been set 3km and 10km around the farm.
The new case is 17 km away from the first one where the African swine fever has been detected before.
