Lithuania and Israel hold bilateral consultation on Eastern European partnership

Two Israeli officials Yacov Livne, Director of the 1st Eurasia Department and coordinator for FSU Region at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel and Alona Simon, Senior Analyst in the Policy Planning Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Israel are visiting Vilnius for two days working visit.

Following a meeting with Prof. Vytautas Landsbergis and the round table discussion at the Center of Eastern European Studies (EESC), official dialogue will be held on September the 2nd with the officials from the Eastern Neighborhood Policy Department at the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The day will start with a welcoming word of vice minister Andrius Krivas and will be focused on possible bilateral initiatives in the Eastern Partnership region, also regional issue and current situation will be discussed. After the consultation the Israeli officials will visit the Institute of International Relations and Political Science (TSPMI) at Vilnius University and will meet with Zygimantas Pavilionis, Ambassador-at-Large for Europe’s East.
