Lithuania refuses entry to another 4 Russian and Belarusian bikers

The motorcyclists who attempted to enter Lithuania via Šalčininkai and Medininkai checkpoints from Belarus had visas but could not provide other documents required for entering the Schengen zone, the State Border Guard Service said.

Before them, eight other Russian bikers were not allowed to drive into Lithuania on Monday and Tuesday from Belarus and the Russian Kaliningrad region. Some of them attempted to enter Lithuania after being sent back to Belarus by Polish border guards.

The Russian biker club Night Wolves say their road trip across Eastern Europe is aimed at celebrating soldiers of the Red Army who died in the war against Nazi Germany. The road trip is intended to end in Berlin on 8 May, the date of the celebration of 70 years since the end of the World War Two.
