The government previously invited people with ties to Lithuania and their family members from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol city, and regions of Donetsk and Luhansk to resettle in the country, if they so wished.

Part of the funds (EUR 50,418) will be given to the Social Security and Labour Ministry to fund the integration of resettled persons, while EUR 15,000 will be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to cover the costs of their travel and social security expenses.

In 2015, the Government’s Reserve amounted to EUR 1.448,100. After today’s decision, there will be EUR 752,500 remaining in it.
