During the two-day exercise, about 60 troops of mandatory initial military service drilled their defence and assault actions. They have been serving in the military since July.

The Polish troops from the 17th Mechanized Infantry Brigade’s 15th battalion arrived in Lithuania for a training of nearly four weeks last weekend.

In late November, the Polish troops and their counterparts from Lithuania and nine more NATO member- and partner-states will attend the international exercise, Iron Sword, in Lithuania.
