The fund-raising dinner on 10 October, organized by the charity organization “Lithuanians of Ireland Care”, was attended by 170 guests who donated EUR 8,230. The money will be transferred to the Lithuania-based support and charity fund “Mothers’ Union” to be used for treating children with cancer.

“How nice to see so many people this year, it exceeded all our expectations,” Rita Lamsargytė-Mockė, one of the organizers, said. “The event was a success, people were charitable. We collected quite a lot of money for children. I want to thank the Lithuanian community in Ireland for supporting and believing in our work.”
