EU extends sanctions for Russian and Ukrainian nationals who support separatists

“Yes, we can confirm that the decision has been made to extend the sanctions for Russian and Ukrainian citizens for another six months,” Žana Tarasė, an adviser at the Lithuanian Permanent Representation to the European Union, told BNS.

The EU has frozen assets of around 150 individuals and 40 companies that are also subject to travel restrictions. These sanctions will expire on September 15.
