Lithuanian MP: John Kerry’s visit to Russia does not change Washington’s position

According to the politician, a practice of cooperation and maintenance of diplomatic ties is normal in Western countries.

“Democratic countries always look for democratic solutions and peaceful decisions,” MP Kirkilas said to the radio Žinių Radijas on Wednesday.

Deputy Seimas speaker also noted that the Minsk agreements are “more or less efficient” and they stand as a background for further peace process in the Donbass region, where the US, he thinks, could take a more active role.
