According to the CEO, the new office will facilitate negotiations with Poland on opening a link between Vilnius and Warsaw and will help ensure the implementation of the Rail Baltica European-gauge railway project.
Lietuvos Geležinkeliai also has representative offices in Russia, Belarus, China and Kazakhstan.
